What is Eldercare Consulting & Management?

Eldercare Management is a specialized, professional practice that aims at improving and integrating the health and quality of life for seniors and, by extension, their families and loved ones.  Eldercare Managers typically have a broad and extensive experience ranging from healthcare services and tailored care plans to quality-of-life assessment and analyzing the overall quality of healthcare being provided.

Health care is complex, and in this increasingly fragmented and overburdened system, it can be extremely helpful to have a professional oversee all aspects of care. I have an incredibly diverse, unique background and skill set that allows me to comprehensively manage ALL of an individual’s health care needs.

As your eldercare manager, I will comprehensively assess the needs of your loved one and we will work together in establishing a care plan. I will assist you and your family with difficult decisions and help promote healthy communication on issues that are often difficult to address and navigate.

Among the greatest benefits I will provide is to improve the quality of life of my aging clients and bring peace of mind to the families and loved ones who are involved in their care. You will be freed up from the role of ‘caregiver’ and instead have the opportunity to spend more quality, stress-free time with your loved one.

As your Eldercare Management Consultant, I will:

Testimonials

Feedback from Families

Laura played a pivotal role in advising me on managing my mom‘s healthcare needs. My mom had dementia and was unable to take care of herself or make her own decisions. I needed expert advice for my mom’s care and Laura provided guidance for seven years, from the time of my mom’s diagnosis until she passed.

Laura offered invaluable guidance to our family during my grandma’s time in hospice. Her support helped us better understand what to expect, how to provide the best care, and allowed us to find more peace with the situation.

The extraordinary care you provided for my mother during her journey with dementia. From the moment you entered our lives, your professionalism, kindness, and dedication were immediately evident. You treated my mother not just as a patient, but as a person, with warmth, respect, and genuine compassion.

Laura helped immeasurably when I was navigating my father’s very complex, end-of-life care. Not being in the health care industry, I was very frustrated and confused with trying to understand and communicate with several of his doctors.
